A collaboration between fashion designer Carlie Ballard and jewellery designer Linda Tahija led to the inception of WHEN EAST MET WEST - a Sydney based homewares label.
Fusing ancient techniques with a modern aesthetic, the debut collection is inspired by the merchants, traders and depth of history along the Silk Road.
Working with a transparent supply chain, the collection utilises 100% cotton canvas, traditional hand spun and handwoven cotton, traditional block printing and dying techniques and small scale, ethical manufacture.
With product names like Lost Empire, City of Merchants and Wayfarers Romance, the debut collaboration will add rich colour and worldly inspiration to your humble abode.
