The long awaited re-launch collection is here! And this is the EDITION PIECE.
Each person who invests in ownership of this piece will have the edition number handwritten by me on the garment label. I have listed ONLY 15 of these to be made.
Cochineal wrap has been crafted by Mahesh and his co-operative in Hyderabad, India. This piece and each piece in the Cochineal collection is made with GOTS certified organic cotton. Using the ancient tradition of handwoven ikat. The design of the ikat has it's origins in Uzbekistan. Mahesh also uses Oeko Tek certified dyes for all our garments.
Each garment has been carefully sewn together by our new conscious workshop partner in Tamil Nadu, who are also certified under the GOTS certification for their cut make and sew facility. You can read more about our producers in the sustainability section of our website.
Garment measurements
This is a one size fits most style.
The Cochineal wrap is a Kimono inspired style with a wide sleeve. Features internal ties to help keep the wrap together. Belt loops and an extra long waist wrap to cinch in your waist with multiple ways to wrap the belt. Breastfeeding friendly.
A truly versatile piece. Seasonless. Suitable for layering, lounging, city, resort, work or home.
