Our family are huge fans of these quilted blankets. In all honesty we have been using them for years, and in the busy-ness of life I haven't managed to go into production of them until now!
This is a single bed size with matching pillowcase, however they also work well on a double or queen bed thrown across instead of lengthways. (Picture of this featured on a queen bed in the cochineal Ikat colourway)
They are so versatile. Perfect weight for year round use. In summer they are a great weight to have on the bed together with your sheet, and in winter we have a duvet and then lay these over the top for added layers and texture on the bed.
Most often these also get dragged into the living room aswell to be used as a blanket while watching tv.
Produced with our new workshop in Delhi, Women Fibre 2 Fashion. A social Enterprise specifically created to assist girls and women coming out of human trafficking. Offering them skills and workplace experience to empower their decisions and capabilities for a brighter future.
Made using our traditional handloom stone ikat fabric, with the reverse side in the same fabric. The fabrics loomed by our weavers in Telangana, Hyderabad.
As with all our new pieces, it comes with our special label for you to document your name and date of ownership. If you choose to pass it on, the history of each owner is etched in the fibres of the quilt.
